The Ardèche river meanders between vertiginous limestone walls, flowing among whitish rocks, in the heart of unspoiled wild nature. As you walk its trails or go hiking through breathtaking landscapes, you discover endless diversity: volcanic summits, ridges offering breathtaking panoramas, majestic waterfalls, and basalt flows. In the surrounding area, there are cultivated stepped terraces, centuries-old chestnut groves, charming hamlets and mills which add to the picturesque charm of the region.

We offer three rooms, a studio, a dormitory and a trailer, surrounded by magnificent nature, forests, valleys, rivers, hikes and lots of great places to visit.
Very nice room (15m2) with a balcony overlooking the garden and the river. 140 bed.
Very pleasant room of 12 m2 which overlooks the river and the garden.
Installed in a vaulted room whose walls are plastered with earth, the room faces south. The sun enters through the large bay window but the room remains cool, even in summer.
On the second floor, a large space of 60 m2, with 10 single beds. White curtains separate the beds in blocks of 4. Pillows are provided but you must bring your own towels and bedding (ideally a sleeping bag). A supply of blankets is available.

We establish a quote based on your needs: Types of accommodation desired, number of people, length of stay, meals (half board or full board) and spaces available to you (performance room, practice room and outdoor spaces) .
A beautiful, bright and serene space of 48 m2 which will allow you to teach in peace and freshness, while benefiting from the conviviality of the place. Versatile, our room is suitable
With a capacity of 50 seats with comfortable cinema seats, it is equipped with a screen and a video projector, a sound system (speaker and mixing desk), microphones and adjustable lighting . The raised platform (5 x 2 m) allows you to speak to the public with good visibility.
Nooks, a circular meadow, terraces, a pleasure garden with its labyrinth and of course the banks of the river can also accommodate your activity. With the possibility of a shed as additional work space.

Access
To come by train: get off at Valence or Montélimar. Buses then regularly serve these 2 stations to Aubenas.
Our village is 25 minutes by car from Aubenas. During the school term, the 18-hour school bus runs from Aubenas to Montpezat. In the opposite direction, 2 buses at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Depending on our possibilities, we also make trips and can organize to pick you up.
By car: from Aubenas, take the D536 which leads to Puy en Velay. At Pont de Labaume, turn right towards Chirols / Montpezat sous Bauzon. La Messiicole is located a 5-minute walk from the center of the village of Montpezat, next to the municipal campsite.
Finally, for your comfort and pleasure, you will find local shops in the village of Montpezat: bakery, butcher, grocery store and café/tobacco shop. A very good hostel and a superb media library complete the local offering.
